This is a reconditioned engine.

Our engines are fully stripped, cleaned, checked and measured to Workshop Manual tolerances prior to reassembly.  The crankcase is checked for internal cracks & confirmation that the liner seal grooves are not corroded. Below is a list of new parts used in the rebuild.

• OEM pistons
• OEM liners
• OEM big and main bearings
• Tappets
• Valve stem seals
• Oil filter
• OEM spark plugs
• Lock tabs, gaskets, seals and O-rings

The oil pump is overhauled and the camshaft re-profiled.  The cylinder liners are machine and cylinder heads are refaced.  The valves and seats are cut and the valves are lapped in. This engine is fitted with our own UE31004P head gaskets, for further information see ‘Attached information’. The engine is then rig tested for noise and leaks, we also film a video of the engine running on the test rig prior to dispatch which can be supplied.
